Last Sunday we held a cake bake sale to raise money for local resident Lois Aldridge who is going off to Uganda to support healthcare workers and to learn new skills. Lois will be working with the Knowledge For Change organisation that has links with the Salford University Nursing Department. A big thank you to everyone who took part – baking, buying, eating – and helped to raise a total of £104... so far.
