COVID-19 ARRANGEMENTS AT BRUNSWICK
A message from Simon
Dear friends
In Midweek Musings a while back I wrote a piece entitled Slowly does it! extolling the virtues of taking our time over things. Well, with the end of wholesale Covid restrictions, which came with so the called “freedom day’’, I would want to encourage the same approach over potential changes here in church. As such, I want to outline how we intend to proceed with our services.
In short, there will be little change to the current pattern we have established;
In all of this, as we journey together discovering “the new normal”, I hope that you will be encouraged to join us in person, because to be honest – we miss you! However, rest assured, we remain committed to maintain Zoom options for the foreseeable future for those who remain unable to do so.
So, with continued prayers for ourselves
Keep safe
Keep in touch
Keep the faith.

In short, there will be little change to the current pattern we have established;
- We’ll still be encouraging both social distancing (and whilst numbers remain the same) only be using alternate pews, and the use of sanitising gel when entering the building.
- We’ll try to use the outdoor space as much as possible, and encourage (weather permitting) folk to congregate out there once the service has finished.
- Communion will continue be distributed in the same way as in the recent past. This I recognise, sadly continues to exclude the much missed ministry of communion assistants, but I feel just one person distributing both bread and wine in the current form significantly reduces the risk of infection.
- I would encourage folk to still wear face-masks throughout the service where possible and especially when folk are in close proximity to you.
- BUT, I would want to encourage us to sing once again in the building! We are likely to continue to use videos combined with live music when possible.
