Brunswick's 'Solar Stall'

Over the past few months we have been getting the word out to our local community about our amazing solar panel project.  One of the things that we did recently was to have a ‘solar stall’ at two annual community events – the Swinton Grove Park Fun Day and the Brunswick Food Festival. Despite the cloudy weather we encouraged folk to make their own sunshine by decorating cakes and making suns out of paper plates. Sunflower plants and yellow balloons were also available as were leaflets about our project. It was great way of meeting people, many of whom made a contribution to our solar panel fund, and of letting people know about all the activities that go on in our church during week.
