For those of you who watch Casualty, the drama came to Brunswick Church yesterday. An elderly man had taken an awful tumble and was very badly shaken. Upon hearing this our very own Casualty stars – Kay and Alison – leapt into action. It was like an operating theatre: "Mo, gloves please", "Mo, bandage please". Mo went to get a cup of tea and was told "No" ...nothing to drink until he has been seen at the hospital. A cold compress was placed on his head. He was bandaged, plastered and taped with precision and accuracy but most of all with care and kindness.
Kay and Alison passed their St Johns Ambulance First Aid just last Friday! ...yes last Friday. So to leap in the way they did was amazing. Well done to you both!
