A full house at Brunswick Church today for the funeral of our oldest member, Violet Palmer. There were lovely tributes to this amazing saint, and many stories and memories shared of her no-nonsense but loving manner. Simon, often heckled by Vi if the Sunday morning service started late, made sure today's celebration of her life began on time! After the service many of us went to the committal at Southern Cemetery where, accompanied by singing, Vi was laid to rest beside her husband Winston.
