That legendary mainstay of the heating of Brunswick church building, the original boiler, dating back to 1974, is finally going this week. Part of Refurb will be a new heating system. Those of us who have been part of the church for a long time will remember much concern about the health of the boiler going back to the 80s, and wondering what we would do if it broke down. In the end it lasted (with no little amount of nursing and minor repairs) right up to last December. Must be a sermon illustration in that somewhere.
