A reminder that our Lent Group for 2022 begins this Sunday 7pm to 8:15pm. Meetings will be in person, though there may be an option to join on Zoom. Email if you're interested.
We will be discussing Paula Gooder’s latest book, Women of Holy Week. This beautiful book retells the events of the Crucifixion, Resurrection and Ascension through the eyes of nine female characters Paula imagines accompanying Jesus during these momentous days. It is illustrated by nine new paintings by artist Rev Ally Barrett. These stories are for all who long to encounter Jesus afresh through the Easter Story.
Contact Simon to purchase a copy. It will cost about £9. It will be essential to have read chapters of the book before each session.
If this time is not convenient, some other opportunities for Lent can be found here. These are being offered by other Anglican churches in our area, with whom we are looking to work more collaboratively in the future.
