As an add-on to our recent Refurb building project we have just installed two EV (electric vehicle) charging points in our refurbished car-park. Once set up* it will be available for anyone who owns a EV or PHEV car to use. These are the first publicly available charging points in the immediate area and we hope they will encourage more local people to consider an EV or PHEV for their next car purchase as a (green) step towards 'doing your bit' for the environment. The unit was purchased with help from Manchester City Council and the University of Manchester – thank you.
