It's been good to see our new double EV charging point being used over the last few months. Our aim is to provide these points as a service to the local community, and wider, to encourage greener motoring. It is the only publicly accessible EV charging station on Brunswick estate. We charge just enough to cover our costs (electricity and a small admin fee to Pod Point). Unfortunately, as is the case for everyone, the cost of our power has risen a lot this year and we have had to increase the charges on our EV point to reflect this. New at Positive Steps, from Wednesday October 19th, Drop-In Dietician Sessions with Lucy Blackstone, Primary Care Network Dietitian. In the photos and video below you will see... no cars! Maybe you saw the report on BBC Look Northwest. The A6 is one of Manchester's busiest roads with pollution levels that are of concern, especially with Medlock School being so close. Levels were measured without traffic for comparison.
Our Brunswick community Karaoke evening was a great success. Big thanks to DJ Lee and all those who came and took part. Here are some photos. And in answer to a number of requests, yes, we will be doing it again.
