Our Refurb project, raising funds to give our much-used building some TLC and set it up for many more years serving and hosting local people, has had a Huge Boost! To add to the funds raised by local people, church members past and present and various grants, we have heard back from our biggest funding application, £150,000 from Sport England with a 100% YES! Are we pleased? Are we thanking God? YES and YES. Really good news for our whole community.
This big jump in our total raised means we are now very close to our target – near enough for building work to begin in the next few months. This is Phase 1 of Refurb which will concentrate on renewing and improving the hall and finally replacing the building's heating. Find out more about the work that will happen in Phase 1 here.
