Simon and Jess welcomed Medlock Primary School Reception classes into church this afternoon to celebrate the wedding of Priscilla Polar Bear and Thomas Teddy Bear as part of their topic work on celebrations.
The children learned about special wedding clothes and different parts of the wedding service. They even helped the bears say some very special wedding vows:
"I'll love you when there's lots of honey
I'll love you when your jokes aren't funny
I'll love you when you're feeling well
I'll love you when you really smell
I'll love you just like God loves me
Because that's the way it's meant to be."
After our mini service, all the children had the chance to wish Priscilla and Thomas well in their new life together by throwing confetti.
