Ardwick and Longsight Covid Mutual Aid Group has been formed to address the growing situation of food poverty in our community which sadly looks like it will continue to increase. We are now at a stage where we are looking to recruit volunteers, who could staff a phone line (phones provided) and receive and pass on calls for help, together with those who are able (with or without car) to pick up food parcels from new and existing food depots across the area and then make doorstep deliveries where needed.
