It was good to welcome Amna Abdullatif to our Sunday morning service yesterday. Amna came as a Muslim to show her sympathy and horror at the bombing of several Christian churches Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday. She brought flowers which we placed at the front of the Worship Room.
Some members of Brunswick recently attended the vigil at Victoria Park Mosque after the New Zealand mosque shootings. These are important gestures to make to demonstrate our common rejection of the hatred behind such attacks. Thank you Amna.
