Today at our Sunday morning service we linked up with one of our mission partners, Operation Restoration Christian School in the Trenchtown area of Kingston, Jamaica. The school does an amazing work in this deprived area, providing young people with education whose families otherwise could not afford to send them to school. We linked through Zoom with Robert Dixon, the principal, who has visited us in the past, and also teacher Claudette, who brought us the latest news from the school.
The purpose of the link was to tell them about the Thank Offering we have taken as a church. We decided to give away this special offering to the school in gratitude for God's provision for our Refurb Project, and were able to tell Robert that £10,000 will be donated to their work.
